Samples are 15 x 15 centimeters (approximately 6 x 6 inches).
The Tradescant & Son range was inspired by the Lambeth collection of natural curiosities assembled by the 16th century English royal gardener and collector, John Tradescant. His collection was, uniquely for the time, open to the public, and its remains form the foundation of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford today. Their collection of printed linens is designed and printed in England onto a versatile linen cloth, or linen/cotton blend, that is suitable for a wide range of upholstery and soft furnishing projects.

Please note that Linen is a natural product so there may be a variance of the ground cloth color from batch to batch. Please request a cutting of the ground cloth prior to printing if necessary. You may also find natural fibre slubs within the ground cloth. This is a natural attribute and not considered a fault.
