Flora by Tradescant & Son

Flora is an exquisite design from Tradescant & Son’s 2019 collection The Botanist, printed onto a versatile Oyster Linen/Cotton blend in Tinder Box. Flora depicts hand drawn Peonies, Magnolias and Foxgloves which John Tradescant found on his explorations and introduced to England. Tinder Box is a beautiful matte silver, perfect for any neutral scheme.

Flora textile is available in 4 colorways: Boxwood, Parchment, Periwinkle and Tinder Box.

The Tradescant & Son range was inspired by the Lambeth collection of natural curiosities assembled by the 16th century English royal gardener and collector, John Tradescant. His collection was, uniquely for the time, open to the public, and its remains form the foundation of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford today. Tradescant & Son’s collection of printed linens is designed and printed in England. This design is printed onto a versatile Linen/Cotton blend cloth that is suitable for a wide range of upholstery and soft furnishing projects.

Fabrics are printed to order, please allow three weeks for delivery.

Please note that Linen is a natural product so there may be a variance of the ground cloth color from batch to batch. Please request a cutting of the ground cloth prior to printing if necessary. You may also find natural fibre slubs within the ground cloth. This is a natural attribute and not considered a fault.
