The Ibis Toile De Jouy by Tradescant & Son is a tropical interpretation of the traditional Toile De jouy pattern. The scarlet Ibis is found in South Africa and the Caribbean. Its bright plumage in an audacious red contrasted with the delicately drawn palm trees will create a hint of flamboyance to any interior scheme.
This design is printed onto linen. It has been specifically woven to their specification in England and is a mid weight fabric. As a result, it is suitable for drapery or light upholstery. Most of all, the fabric is highly versatile, easy to iron and furthermore has a lovely handle making it drape beautifully.
